بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
— In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful —
Since 2010, we have been a beacon of hope for the vulnerable, the orphaned, and the forgotten communities of Uganda and beyond. Our trust — Al-Amaana — means everything we do is a sacred covenant with those we serve and with our Creator.
Serving the helpless with dignity, compassion, and unwavering faith
A world where no human being suffers in silence or want
Rooted in Islamic principles of justice, mercy, and solidarity
Buteza, Sironko, Uganda — reaching across communities
With your continued generosity, these numbers grow — because every single donation carries the weight of mercy and transforms a life.
Each initiative is a thread in the fabric of compassion we weave for our communities. From clean water to spiritual nourishment — your sadaqah fuels them all.
Honouring the Sunnah of Ibrahim (AS) by distributing fresh Qurbani meat to the poorest families who would otherwise never taste it. Your Qurbani reaches the most needy doorsteps.
Clean water is life. We build and restore boreholes in remote communities, ending the suffering of mothers and children who walk miles for contaminated water.
The Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build him a house in Paradise." We restore and construct masjids so communities can worship with dignity.
In the blessed month of Ramadan, no family should break their fast with an empty table. We distribute essential food packages to ensure everyone shares the joy of Iftar.
Knowledge is the legacy of the Prophet ﷺ. We sponsor school fees, provide stationery, and support bright but underprivileged students to realise their God-given potential.
Every Quran we distribute becomes a chain of ongoing reward. We send the Word of Allah to mosques, schools, and individuals who could never afford one.
When floods strike, fires rage, or disaster hits, Al-Amaana is among the first to respond — delivering aid, shelter materials, and comfort to those in acute crisis.
Hunger is a crisis that never sleeps. Our Food Aid programme delivers rice, oil, flour, and other staples to the hungriest households throughout the year.
"I and the guardian of an orphan will be in Paradise like this" — the Prophet ﷺ said, joining his two fingers. We care for orphans' education, health, food, and love.
Many Islamic schools and mosques lack proper windows, doors, and structural integrity. We step in to ensure these sacred spaces are safe, functional, and dignified.
Your generosity — however small — carries the power to transform a life. Complete this simple 3-step form to send your sadaqah, zakat, or kaffarah to those who need it most.

From a small community in Sironko, a movement of mercy was born — and with Allah's blessing, it continues to grow.
In 2010, amidst the turmoil of a challenging world, a group of compassionate hearts in Buteza, Sironko, Uganda, made a covenant with Allah and with their community — that no neighbour would suffer in silence while they had the ability to help. From this sacred covenant, Al-Amaana For Humanitarian Initiative Ltd was born.
Al-Amaana — meaning "The Trust" in Arabic — is not merely a name. It is our very identity. We understand that every donation entrusted to us is a sacred responsibility, an Amaana (trust) from our generous donors to the people they wish to serve. We guard this trust with full accountability, transparency, and devotion.
Our organisation is officially registered in Uganda (Reg No: 80034661875310 UG) and operates primarily in the Sironko District, extending its reach to surrounding communities and regions where need is greatest. Our team of dedicated volunteers, guided by Islamic principles of mercy, justice, and brotherhood, work tirelessly to ensure that aid reaches the most vulnerable.
Our mission is straightforward yet profound: "Serving the Helpless." We serve widows, orphans, the elderly, the sick, the displaced, and the deeply impoverished — regardless of faith or tribe — because in the eyes of Allah, every human life is sacred and worthy of dignity.
A just and compassionate world where no human being suffers in silence, where the orphaned child smiles with security, the hungry family breaks their fast with dignity, and every community has access to clean water, education, and spiritual nourishment. A world illuminated by the light of generosity and the mercy of our Creator.
To serve the helpless, the forgotten, and the vulnerable through sustainable, transparent, and faith-driven humanitarian programmes — delivering aid that empowers communities, preserves human dignity, and strengthens the bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood in Islam and humanity at large.
Every cent donated is a sacred trust. We handle all funds with complete transparency, rigorous accountability, and regular reporting to our supporters.
Mercy is the heartbeat of our work. We approach every beneficiary with profound compassion, dignity, and the warmth that every human soul deserves.
We ensure our aid reaches the most deserving, regardless of tribe, background, or faith. Justice guides every decision we make in the field.
Our work is done solely for the pleasure of Allah. We seek no worldly recognition — only His reward and the smiles of those we serve.
We believe in the unbreakable bond of human brotherhood. Every life we touch strengthens the fabric of a more loving, connected world.
We build lasting solutions, not temporary fixes. Boreholes, schools, and mosques serve communities for generations — that is the legacy of your sadaqah.
Our doors — and hearts — are always open. Contact us today to donate, volunteer, partner, or simply connect with our mission.

Every act of giving is rooted in the timeless guidance of the Quran and the beautiful example of the Prophet ﷺ. Let these blessed words illuminate your heart and move you to act.
"Indeed, Allah commands you to render trusts to whom they are due and when you judge between people to judge with justice. Excellent is that which Allah instructs you."
The very name Al-Amaana (Trust) is a pledge to fulfil this verse in every donation received.
"The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed that grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies for whom He wills."
Your single donation can multiply 700-fold in Allah's register. Give and watch your scales tip towards Jannah.
"Their meat will not reach Allah, nor will their blood, but what reaches Him is piety from you."
Qurbani is not about the animal — it is about the sincerity and God-consciousness in your heart.
"…and gives wealth, in spite of love for it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveller, and those who ask…"
Caring for orphans and the needy is the hallmark of the truly righteous — this is what Al-Amaana does every day.
"Zakah expenditures are only for the poor and for the needy and for those employed to collect it… and for the cause of Allah and for the traveller…"
Al-Amaana channels your Zakat to exactly those Allah named — verified, transparent, and accountable.
"And We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?"
Water is not just a resource — it is a divine gift. Every well we drill is an act of worship rooted in this ayah.
"Those who spend their wealth by night and by day, secretly and publicly — they will have their reward with their Lord."
Whether you give quietly or share your donation — Allah sees every dirham and rewards it generously.
"And they give food in spite of love for it to the needy, the orphan, and the captive."
The companions of Jannah feed others even when they themselves desire the food. Your Qurbani meat feeds Uganda's orphans and needy.
"Whatever you spend of good is for yourselves… whatever you spend of good — it will be fully repaid to you, and you will not be wronged."
Your charity is truly an investment: Allah Himself is the guarantor and He never short-changes anyone.
"Charity does not in any way decrease wealth. By forgiving, Allah increases the honour of the one who forgives. And the one who is humble for Allah's sake, Allah will raise his status."
